Matt was probably wondering why I was asking about pro tron and neutrons and atoms during teeth brushing last night, we moved on and I never got to explain why I had asked. (Matt is the repository of all information that I am not..math, science, political history, geography..I could go on, but it would just further highlight my deficiencies so I'll stop there.) The reason behind the questions was Walter. I am searching for the appropriate analogy for his boundless energy. About 2 years ago I noticed a serious ramp up in his energy levels...but over the summer it reached a new frenzy and is now at, what I really pray is the high point. Walter is like a neutron ..constantly, moving, constantly...I don't know where he finds the energy..In the midst of this new energy high, Walter has taken to literally climbing the walls. Grammy Sheila caught him on film, so I'll add the photo.
Don't think because I've been ranting and writing about my own kids that I have been neglecting my sweets..Aubrey and Quinn-Quinn. I usually call Aubrey "Aubs" and Quuinn, Quinn-Quinn, I don't know why, I've just fallen into the habit. I regret to write that Quinn is quickly growing out of his baby body. He is looking more and more like a toddler every day. They are both lightening fast and pulling up, but Aubrey still has more of tiny, baby look. Quinn also has a full mouth of teeth to compliment his toddler look. I'll try to get Christie to post soon, but these babies are keeping her pretty swamped these days.

Yes, Walter... ball of energy hardly describes it. Great Wolf Lodge was quite the experience. A great time was had by all... I actually thought if I let them stay up late... they would "sleep in". HA! HA! I say again... Walter was up til 11:30 p.m. and at 6:50 a.m. he came to our bed saying.... " We're Up?!".... We continued our search for the Master Magi Quest.... then went swimming ..... again.... then took them home and Walter said he thought he might need a nap when he got home.... DO YA THINK?? All I know is when I got home... I went to bed and slept for 4 hours... I can't tell you how long its been since I slept in the daytime... even when I was sick.
Walter has no energy limits... I think he has a micro chip implanted.... I think I want one.
Whew! love those kids.

Electron Carrie - Walter is like an electron - moving fast, all sorts of energy. Neutrons are kinda boring - no charge, hang out in the nucleus. It is the electrons that move all around and even jump from atom to atom.
Yea, electron, then...I was picturing the image from Jimmy Neutron (which may actually be an electron)....you know, the cirlces with the small spheres in motion all along them? Anyway, it totally figures I would get my analogy wrong. (or is it metaphor?) ha ha
I am impressed you went for a science metaphor - very good! Yes, those things moving around in Jimmy Neutron are electrons - its OK - you're an artist ;)
Wow, I could use a little of that energy right now. However, energy levels are coming back for me. So I think Walter should be Spiderman for Halloween this year, and everyhouse he goes to he has to free climb to their roof! He looks like he could do it. Ha Ha.
